Who DIs?

Hi, I’m Hayley — founder of Cheese Riot, hospitality lifer, lover of bloody good food and the person on a mission to make cheese make sense again.

I’ve spent 20+ years in hospitality, from bars and swanky restaurants to nightclubs and hotel tea rooms, along with studying a degree in it! Somewhere along the way I realised cheese had become weirdly intimidating. Too many rules. Too much jargon. Not enough fun.

So I built Cheese Riot to change that.

I love beer. I love cheese. I love wine. I love having a good time. And I love doing things properly.
Which means cutting through the nonsense, making pairing simple, and helping people actually enjoy what they’re eating and drinking — without feeling like they need a textbook first.

This is about bringing cheese back to the people.
Making it accessible. Less overwhelming. More joyful.

I’m also a mum to a toddler, so I know time and energy are limited — and the moments you do get? They should feel worth it.

And, crucially for me, every order supports the UN World Food Programme - if we make an impact on this world, let it be a positive one.
